“A Bridge To Heaven”

“But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.” (Job 28:12-13)

O’er jagged cliffs, and towering heights!  Crushing currents, rage below!  And yet we pass. With scarce a thought!  Of dangerous threats, that flow! . . . R. Lyle Johnson

The bridges that we cross in life allow us to see both beauty and danger.  Bridges are gifts that offer safe passage and refuge.  The greatest gift is the one that builds a bridge from mortality to eternal life.   See full version of the poem “A Bridge To Heaven’s Gate.”
